After Allen Edwards' thirty-eight-year marriage ends in divorce, he finds himself alone. Worn down by life, he feels he is a failure marking time until the Maker calls him home; but the Lord isn't finished with him! A woman he encounters for the first time in passing says she's seen him before. How could that be? When she explains, Allen realizes God has not forgotten him, after all. He feels a connection and falls hard for the lovely lady, but she lives a continent away.
