After his family become the latest victims of a series of violent attacks, trauma surgeon Paul Kersey (Willis) decides to take the law into his own hands in order to get the justice his family deserves. As he seeks out every member of the gang who broke into his home, he vows to make them pay for their crime.

But as his passion for revenge takes over his life, he finds himself seeking justice for other victims. The cast includes Dean Norris, Vincent D'Onofrio and Elisabeth Shue.
