Romanian-language drama in which a married man with a child finds himself compelled to choose between his wife and his lover in the lead up to Christmas. Paul Hanganu (Mimi Branescu) has been with Adriana (Mirela Oprisor) for ten years. The pair are married, settled and have a young daughter to look after.
However, when taking the child to have her teeth seen to, Paul meets Raluca (Maria Popistasu), a pretty young dentist. The pair swiftly embark on an affair fuelled by the kind of passion that has long since dissipated in Paul's relationship with his wife. Knowing that it is morally wrong to carry on a double-life, Paul finds himself forced to make an agonising choice between the woman of his dreams and a stable family life.
