The present collection is the 5th issue of the series "Issues of Ethnogenesis and Ethnic History of the Peoples of Central Asia", and includes the latest researches of Uzbek scientists in this field. The collection consists of 7 parts. The first part of the collection titled "Regions" presents an article by T. Salimov "The Ethnic Composition and Population Settlement in the Nurata Oasis". Part 2 of the collection titled "Turkic-speaking nations" includes an article by R. Ubaidullaeva "Preservation of ethnopedagogical practices in Uzbek families". Part 3 of the collection "Iranian-Speaking Peoples" contains an article by Sh. Part 5". The 4th part of the collection "History of Statehood" presents the article of the Russian researcher Y. I. Drobyshev "Power of Mongol khan in the views of Europeans in the 13th century". The 5th part of the collection "Discussions" includes article of A. Hodjaev "New sight at information of the Chinese sources about ethnic origin of Yuezhi - creators of the Kushan empire". Part 6 of the "Review" includes the second part of Sh. S. Kamoliddin's commentary to the article by D. Dovudi "On dirham-medallion of Tajik ruler, Samanid Mansur I ibn Nuh".
