Being able to communicate effectively is one of the most important life skills that a person needs to learn. No enterprise can effectively attain its prescribed goals and objectives without effective communication. An organization whose communication is not effective is bound to collapse sooner or later. The management of any organization should exploit the benefits of effective communication while at the same time attempt to reduce or remove the communication barriers in order to realize the goals and objectives of the organization. Ineffective communication has been observed as the source of most interpersonal conflicts. Furthermore, we spend nearly seventy percent of our working hours communicating in writing, reading, speaking or listening. Thus, it can be concluded that one of the most obstructing forces of successful group performance is absence of effective communication.
