The release of public examination results in Zimbabwe attracts the attention of various education stakeholders. In the years 2011 and 2012, a substantial number of schools obtained below average pass rates. With the low pass rates, one is stimulated to try and find out how this happens. The analysis of the results treats Grade 7 candidates the same regardless of their unique circumstances.
