Fracture Mechanics of Concrete: Experimental and Numerical Studies Vidya Sagar Remalli

Vidya Sagar's doctorate was awarded for the significant contribution made by his published work on Fracture Mechanics applicable to concrete structures. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the department of civil engineering, Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan, USA for a brief period. His major research interests are (a) Computational solid mechanics (b) Experimental and Computational Fracture Mechanics and (c) Acoustic emission method applicable to concrete structures and (d) Bridge engineering. At present he is working as a Senior Scientific officer in the department of civil engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He has presented papers at IUTAM congresses and International Conferences and also national conferences held in India. His research papers are published in refereed international journals and proceedings.
