Mrs Beeton was the presiding genius of 19th century cookery, and her reputation lives on, undiminished, in the pages of this book - part of the Impala Victorian Series, which includes the Diamond Jubilee Edition of Mrs Beeton's Cookery Book and Peter Keene's Never Nonplussed. The back and front cover illustrations are taken from the original Diamond Jubilee Edition of Mrs Beeton's Cookery Book.
