Rachel is a teenage girl going through a lot of the typical teenage problems: overbearing parents, trying to keep her grades up, and inconvenient crushes. Her latest crush, Chris, has more than a few secrets. He also has all the makings of a teen heartthrob--he is intelligent, thoughtful, handsome, and seems genuinely interested in what Rachel has to say.
The only minor hitch is that Chris just happens to be an alien.
As if being different species didn't cause enough problems for Rachel and Chris, they soon find their love forbidden by all, human and alien alike. To make matters worse, the aliens have taken an unhealthy interest in her that, if realized, will ruin more than just her love life. Rachel and Chris soon find themselves running from the aliens who will stop at nothing to get her back and government scientists who want to know what makes Rachel so special. Will the young lovers outrun their seemingly tireless enemies to enjoy their newfound love for each other?

Rochelle Cunningham is a published author and scientist. She is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin. She loves learning about the human experience as seen through the eyes of others. This is her first novel.
