The Purple Frog is also called the Indian Purple Frog because its population can only be found in India. It is also called a Pignose Frog because it somewhat looks like a pig, especially from its side view.



Of course, its most accurate name is simply Purple Frog - because it's a species of frog and it's colored purple.
