The Irrawaddy Dolphin is just one species of Dolphin. Unlike the Dolphins that you usually see in Ocean Parks and Dolphin shows, they look somewhat different. In fact, having shorter beaks than the usual type of dolphins makes them seem a bit strange. But it's one of their main characteristics - their species name even means "short beaked" because the most common species of dolphins (the one you see in Dolphin shows) usually have pointed beaks.



So, prepare to meet a one-of-a-kind Dolphin. They may seem strange at first, being a rare kind of Dolphin - but one thing is for sure - they are as lovable as all other species of Dolphins.
