A collection of poems authored by Craig Simpson from the early 1990s to the mid 2000s. Born in the capital city of Kingston in the Island of Jamaica in the early 1970's. 'A Coffee and a Poem' allows us to peer into the mind of an author, who was born in an Island that had acquired independence from Great Britain less than ten years before his birth.'A Coffee and a Poem' represents Mr. Simpson's unique love affair with, coffee and poetry, as well as his exposure to British English, flavored by the local Jamaican dialect. After moving to the United States to attend College in 1999, Mr. Simpson entered his poem 'Harmony' into a competition sponsored by the Iliad Press National Authors Registry where it won an Honorable Mention.'Harmony' is included in this collection.
