Jack Russell was born into a hard and cruel world, being orphaned at an early age and before taking advantage of learning a trade as a wood cutter and locksmith. The brutality of his existence quickly drives him towards crime and his reputation as a notorious highwayman soon gathers pace. Jack meets up with a female Land Pirate and saves her life, before they join forces, committing crimes throughout the Kingdom while being chased by a known thief catcher. Jack and his aristocratic companion share adventures and thrills, hardships and despair, until the final twist in the story decides their fate.
