A Field Guide to the Atlanta & St Andrews Bay Railroad (aka The Bay Line) is a collection of information on this historic short line that operates in northwest Florida and south Alabama. Founded in 1906 and still thriving in the 21st Century, the Bay Line has survived two world wars, a depression and too many boom and bust cycles to count. Along the way, it was integral to the grand plans for some well known business empires and set a few historical precedents before maturing into a prosperous if somewhat obscure short line.
