Following an impressive debut on Black Box in late 2011, the Finnish newcomer LAS drops a 10" plate of deep dread technology on Box Clever, with both sides inhabiting similar sonic territory to that of classic DMZ releases. * LAS weaves a rich tapestry of sound in 'Memories', silken pads and resonant bell tones drifting around effortless drumwork and rich bass undulations. 'Mental Judgement' is more militant in tone, with steppah drums and pounding 808 subs powering a bongo-driven dub track. * As an added extra, the label has cut 10 single-sided dubplates of an exclusive LAS track 'Minus One' via Dubstudio in Bristol. This track will not be available anywhere else as either physical or digital product.
