Santos
Santos is an artist with many faces, a true whizzkid in the studio. Since his mighty "Camels" in the beginning of this century, there seems to be no-stopping this Italian hit machine. He's not only the executive producer of Timo Maas nowadays, but also runs the Mutant Clan project with him and has released his highly effective dancefloor TNT on labels such as Cocoon, Moon Harbour, Crosstown Rebels and his own, Rockets & Ponies imprint to name just a few of the past years. After having already appeared on Circle with his well-received remix for "Outlandos" by label head Alex Flatner & Oliver Klein, Santos finally returns to the Mannheim based Circle to drop an own double tracker. And what a duo that is! The raw "Unstable Freak" goes in the vein of the Villalobos-Luciano- Tanzmann featured "Hold Home" and delivers some ultradirty and blood rockin' Santos trademark beats built around a repetitive vocal and carried by a driving sub bass. "Senior Scream" comes with a more stripped beat to make way for even more groove, screaming sirens and a sick, outstanding bassline that reminds of his best early Mantra Vibes days.
