A regular of electronic music clubs since the end of the eighties, RICHARD BARTZ started his production career as co-producer on DJ HELL's album Geteert & Gefedert, released by Disko B in 1994. They also did the Rock My Body To The Beat single together (Gigolo31). As well as on Gigolo, RICHARD BARTZ has had solo releases on Disko B, Kurbel, Kanzeleramt, Lasergun and Cocoon. This is his first solo release on Gigolo since his Midnight Man (Gigolo131) album in 2005. The single starts with the deep and powerful track Voyager and really gets of on B1 with Minimax 1. Minimax 2 takes the pace even higher with punchy snare beats and spaced-out effects. Every one of these tracks is ideal for the dance-floor and will work well in a party set: just what you need to get the crowd jumping. RICHARD draws on many different influences from techno, house, electro and synthcore to hi-nrg, among others - all of which can be heard in his new tunes. Rave to the Max is a hi-nrg club anthem which shows BARTZ' earlier addiction to rave. The epic track Voyager has been selected by HELL for the forthcoming Gigolo CD11 putting Richie up there with gigolo colleagues such as ABE DUQUE, FETISCH and an exclusive new track from the Gigolo Boss HELL himself. A long-term member of the Gigolo crew since the early days, BARTZ was already on the International Deejay Gigolo compilations 3, 7 and 8 so its great to see him on Gigolo in 2008.
