*Working Class Dog* is the fifth studio album by Australian rock musician **Rick Springfield**, released in 1981. The album features the song *"Love Is Alright Tonite"*, which was used to comedic effect in the film *Wet Hot American Summer*. Also *“Jessie’s Girlâ€* is on the album, which is part of a prominent scene in the cult movie *“Boogie Nightsâ€*.

**Rick Springfield** has become somewhat of a cult hero, starring in several episodes of *"Californication"* in which he plays a twisted version of himself, a "hedonistic Rick Springfield" from the past. He also starred on *Hawaii Five-0* and *True Detective*.
