Destiny's Child third album, "Survivor" was released in 2001, after much drama surrounded the changes in the group's line-up. The album starts off quite well with "Independent Women Part 1" which was featured in the first Charlie's Angels movie. After emerging as the group's focal point, Knowles assumed more control taking a greater hand in writing the material and even producing some of the record herself. "Independent Woman", "Survivor", "Nasty Girl" and "Happy Face" are songs of morality, living life to the fullest potential, always persevere to achieve your dreams and finally being ambitious. Beyoncé is not only a gifted singer, she's also a talented songwriter!
