'Thunder in the Distance' is the third album from Ex-Helloween Michael Kiske's melodic rock side project PLACE VENDOME. Once again Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69) is producing and Frontiers President Serafino Perugino is in charge of the A&R and song selection. This time the contributions came from such songwriters as Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline), Timo Tolkki (ex Stratovarius), Roberto Tiranti and Andrea Cantarelli (Labyrinth and A Perfect Day), Soren Kronqvist, Magnus Karlsson and more.
