Ida Corr’s first album on her new record label House of Corr. Presenting her own sound of afro-electro, Ida Corr explores new ways of making music with the combination of African tribe beats and westernized syntheziser. Ida digs deeper into her roots and soul. The tracks and lyrics reveals the story of a power woman and mother struggling with and trying to recognize her vulnarability and imperfection. The album features the world famous Gambian cora player Dawda Jobarteh and the illustrations inside the cover sleeve are made by Ida’s father Wally Corr.
