The Fold Project is a study in counterpoint between the allegory of the book, the personalities of the musicians, the method of music making and of course the relationships between sound on sound - each providing points and counterpoints of accord and dischord. The Fold does not begin with a pre-established harmony or a set of aesthetics or formula; it is an unfolding process contingent on the offerings of the players who are Tim O'Dwyer - saxophones, music director, Carl Ludwig Hbsch - tuba, Bassem Hawar - djoze, Carl Rosman - clarinets, Saad Thamir - percussion/voice.
