If you were to list the bands that epitomised the powerful, melodic rock of the early 90s, Mr Big would be at the top of the list. Many people still remember the Californian band for their radio-ready ballad classics 'Wild World' and 'To Be With You': However, the band's self-titled debut album from 1989 shows that Mr Big's origins lie in harder sounds and that the musicians really know how to play their instruments with virtuosity.
