Gifted songstress Tena Riley takes on the classic Frankie Beverly & Maze 1981 track "Joy & Pain" with strong support from the popular Philadelphia-based vocal trio known as TRU and musical backing by the first family of Philly Soul, the immensely talented Ingram Brothers band with added assistance from The Society Hill Orchestra. Riley first came into public view as back-up vocalist for the great Billy Paul and as a member of the female group The Mellow Moods, who left a lasting impact on the early Philly soul scene.
