Jeaninne Walton, a phenomenal vocalist better known as Lady J. Royal Diamond, has shared the stage with many major acts, especially in the Philly soul world. As a solo artist she has opened for The Delfonics, The Stylistics, Blue Magic, The Blue Notes, Patti LaBelle, Phyllis Hyman, Jeffrey Osbourne and Frankie Beverly. As a back-up vocalist, Lady J. has been on tour with the Tina Turner Revue and the Three Degrees. Although she's highly visible in the Philly soul world, Lady J.'s first love is the theater. She has starred on Broadway playing Tammi Terrell in "The Ghost of Marvin Gaye," and had roles in "Porgy and Bess" and "The Wiz." Lady J. also danced for the late James Brown for three years and sung at receptions on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. and at embassies in New York, and even in West Africa.
