Birds of Paradise Georgia Kelly
Birds of Paradise
Georgia Kelly
Long at the forefront of New Age music, classically trained harpist and composer Georgia Kelly was instrumental in defining the genre in the late 1970's and did much to develop the industry which has since thrived and flourished for over 30 years. Over the years, Kelly's music has been used in films, documentaries, television programs and has served as therapeutic music in hospitals and clinics throughout the world. Her classic 1980 album, "Birds of Paradise" is a shining example of her trademark "healing" music - where the magic of her harp and longtime collaborator Richard Hardy's flute incorporate the songs of the paradise birds to create a feeling of wellness and serenity. All selections newly remastered.
