Music Hall Bon-bons Raymond Paige
Music Hall Bon-bons
Raymond Paige
Raymond Paige was a famous radio and studio conductor in the early days of Hollywood who was known for his lush orchestral pop sounds which later fueled the easy listening craze of the 1950's. Presented here is possibly his best recorded album, the 1958 audiophile recording "Music Hall Bon Bons," which features Paige conducting the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra through a set of sentimental music hall dance band numbers, lush ballads and beautifully arranged show tune standards. All selections have been newly remastered.
