Chistes Verdes Al Rojo Vivo El Tadeo
Chistes Verdes Al Rojo Vivo
El Tadeo
A Cuban émigré living in Miami following the Cuban embargo in 1959, the comedian El Tadeo became something of a folk hero. His monologues filled with dark humor and double meanings were quite popular among his fellow émigrés, and he became a popular attraction in the clubs of Little Havana and Hialeah. These very special, historically significant recordings stand as a document of his unique talent and offer a glimpse into the culture and mores of the Cuban population living in Miami at the time. Recorded in the early to mid 70's. All selections newly remastered.
