Formerly known as Riff Cannon, Summoner are a Boston institution who fuse elements of metal, stoner rock, doom, and cosmic psychedelia into a heavy rock monster that obliterates everything it meets. Following a well-received release under their old moniker, the re-christened band barreled onto the scene in 2012 with "Phoenix," their debut as Summoner, selling out multiple pressings with virtually no promotion or distribution.
