A-Side – Lump „fear and lies“ B-Side – Lump „fear and lies (kleinschmager audio rmx)“ Lump is Dub - the groovy, funky, ass-shakin' kind of style. His tracks are vital and complex because of a varying up and down of its elements. This new piece of wax is Lump's third record on RRYGULAR and stands in line with releases on FutureDub, Karloff and Sud Electronic. For his latest production „fear and lies“ he recorded some striking vocals performed by Lerato. These short lines hold a new, a deeper sense. If the connection to contemporary history is intended or not, the preaching words „You can never hold us down!!!“ are a self-confident announcement against repression of any kind. On the B-side Kleinschmager Audio present a lively, open-air-ish remix with some credits to the oldschool sound. In contrast to their own, more stringent productions this track shows a larger bandwidth. Whatever the reason might be - it's working, because it's directed to the floor.
