Long Long Road Ringo Starr
Long Long Road
Ringo Starr
Produced and largely co-written with acclaimed producer and songwriter T Bone Burnett, Ringo Starr's "Long Long Road" continues the creative partnership that began with his 2025 album "Look Up," expanding its country and Americana foundations into a warm, reflective collection shaped by decades of musical experience.
Recorded in both Nashville and Los Angeles, the 10-song album brings together an accomplished group of musicians from the modern Americana scene alongside Starr’s longtime collaborators. Burnett, who wrote or co-wrote much of the material, frames Starr’s unmistakable voice and relaxed rhythmic style within a rich roots-oriented sound that blends country storytelling, classic rock sensibility, and the spirit of traditional American songwriting. Among the highlights is a rediscovered song first recorded by Carl Perkins, included as a tribute to one of the artists who helped shape Starr’s early musical outlook.
The album features a number of notable guest appearances, including Billy Strings, Sheryl Crow and St. Vincent, while the first single, “It’s Been Too Long,” includes harmonies from Sarah Jarosz and Molly Tuttle.
