Jethro Tull's 14th studio album, "The Broadsword and the Beast" (1982), reissued as 40th Anniversary Deluxe "Monster" edition.

The extensive "Monster Edition" features a new stereo mix of the album by Steven Wilson, renowned for his audio expertise. A plethora of associated recordings have also been newly mixed by Steven Wilson. The third CD contains demos, master mixes, and rough cuts, while CDs 4 & 5 present a captivating live performance from Germany in 1982.

The three DVDs included in this "Monster Edition" offer audio content only, showcasing 5.1 and hi-res stereo mixes of the album and associated recordings. Additionally, the third DVD provides a high-resolution stereo and 4.1 surround sound experience of the Live in Germany 1982 concert.

Complementing the audio collection, the 5CD+3DVD set features a 164-page book packed with exclusive content: interviews with band members, a track-by-track annotation by Ian Anderson, an interviews with sleeve illustrator Iain McCaig and sound engineer Leigh Mantle. The book also includes a recreation of the 1982 tour programme and touring schedule, along with rare photos and memorabilia.
