Vocalist/pianist Ellyn Rucker has previously recorded four albums as a leader for Capri, and her most recent recording "Now" shows additional maturity but without any loss of enthusiasm, energy or creativity. It is a well-rounded set that not only showcases her playing and singing, but the talents of some of Denver's unheralded jazz performers. "Now" displays the diversity of Ellyn's musical life, featuring her as a soloist, in a duo, a trio, and with horn players.
