Mademoiselle Julie Fuchs
Mademoiselle
Julie Fuchs
With the success of this first album dedicated to the Operetta and the light music, Julie Fuchs returns with an album entirely devoted to the Opera of the XIXth century. Dedicated to Bel Canto and sung in three different languages (French, Italian, Spanish), this new album is titled 'Mademoiselle', the story of the emancipation of a young singer through a selection of very specific tunes. For this, Julie Fuchs has chosen both tunes known from the great repertoire but also rare tunes, for some recorded for the very first time and rediscovered after a long research work. Julie Fuchs has surrounded herself with the conductor Enrique Mazzola, specialist of the repertoire, and chief conductor of the National Orchestra of Ile-de-France who has ensured the recording in their new studio in Alfortville. 'Mademoiselle' is thus the first recording to inaugurate this new place at the cutting edge of technology and the ideal acoustics.
