After moving to London in 1888, German photographer Anna Kosminski (Sonja Gerhardt) discovers the Whitechapel area is being terrorised by a notorious serial killer known as Jack the Ripper, who has been murdering and mutilating female prostitutes in increasingly gruesome ways.
