Art historian Tim Marlow presents this documentary on the works of Leonardo da Vinci. An Italian Renaissance artist, Leonardo was a pioneer of portraiture and historical scenes. In addition, he was knowledgeable in many other subjects including science, engineering and music.

The programme discusses a selection of his works which comprise the 'Mona Lisa', 'The Last Supper', 'The Annunciation', 'Ginevra de'Benci', 'The Virgin of the Rocks' and 'St. John the Baptist'.
