Bitter Harvest

1960s British drama starring Janet Munro and John Stride. The film follows young and restless Jennie Jones (Munro) as she leaves her dull, Welsh mining town and heads for the bright lights of London. However, after being taken there against her will, she soon finds life in the capital isn't at all like she expected.

After finding herself alone in the city, Jennie is forced to turn to kind barman Bob Williams (Stride) for help. He happily takes her in and cares for her but it's not long before she becomes bored once again and goes off in search of more adventure...
