Director's cut of the US action horror based on Todd McFarlane's comic book. After being murdered on a mission in North Korea, Force Reconnaissance Marine Colonel Al Simmons (Michael Jai White) is returned to life after making a Faustian pact with Malebolgia (voice of Frank Welker), a ruler of Hell. Simmons agrees to lead Hell's army against mankind as long as he can see his wife Wanda (Theresa Randle) again.
Reincarnated as Spawn, Simmons is offered the chance to use his new powers for good by fellow Hellspawn Cogliostro (Nicol Williamson) rather than venture down the path to evil.
