Docu-drama about a woman whose body was not discovered until three years after her death. Joyce Vincent died in 2003 in her North London bedsit. In 2006 her remains were found lying on her sofa, surrounded by wrapped up Christmas gifts and with the TV still on.

The film investigates the facts of Joyce's tragically short existence and the mysterious circumstances of her death, featuring interviews with friends and colleagues who had lost touch with her and reconstructed dramatic scenes from her life, as imagined by writer-director Carol Morley, with Zawe Ashton playing the role of this seemingly forgotten woman.
