When Eve Baird (Rebecca Romijn) is chosen as the latest Guardian of the library, she has her work cut out for her when she realises she has become part of an ancient order dedicated to protecting the world from the magic that lies inside the books. In this series, the Egyptian God Apep (Amin El Gamal) is released by a Navy veteran whose body Apep then possesses, Jake (Christian Kane) and Cassandra (Lindy Booth) are sent on a mission to retrieve a crystal from a cave in Sweden, and the group organise an intervention for Flynn (Noah Wyle) whose obsession with finding the Eye of Ra has taken over his life.
