In Old Caliente Joseph Kane

Western starring Roy Rogers. The action takes place in the frontier town of Caliente, California, shortly after the state's admittance to the Union. Roy stars as the right-hand man for one of the Spanish aristocrats, Don Miguel.

Another of the original Spanish-Americans, Delgado robs Don Miguel's son of $40,000 and places the blame on the upstart American settlers. It's up to Roy to settle accounts.
