Big Fish and Begonia Anime

Chinese animated adventure directed by Liang Xuan and Zhang Chun. The film follows Chun (voice of Guanlin Ji), a 16-year-old girl from a mystical realm who is transported to the human world in the form of a dolphin. While there, she comes across a kind young boy who drowns while attempting to save her after she gets caught in a fishing net.

Desperate to bring him back to life, Chun makes a deal with the soul keeper of her realm which allows her to take the boy back to the human world in the form of a baby dolphin. If she is able to protect him and nurture him to adulthood, she will be able to bring him back to life in his human form once more. Will Chun be able to succeed in her quest while also keeping it a secret from her own kind?
