In The Fade In the Fade

Diane Kruger stars in this German crime drama written and directed by Fatih Akin. The film follows Katja Sekerci (Kruger) as she seeks justice in the aftermath of a deadly nail bomb attack that kills her Kurdish husband Nuri (Numan Acar), a former drug trafficker, and five-year-old son. Convinced she has a possible suspect and a racial motive for the attack, Katja is frustrated by the police's continued focus on her husband's criminal past until her theories are proved correct and a neo-Nazi couple is arrested and put on trial.

However, when she doesn't get her desired verdict in court, Katja resolves to seek justice for herself.
