Upon moving to a quiet new neighbourhood, the Creed family lose their cat in a road accident. Feeling bad for them, a neighbour tells Mr Creed (Dale Midkiff) of an ancient Indian burial ground believed to have powers of resurrection. However, when the Creed's infant son meets a fate similar to the family pet, Mr Creed can't resist temptation and, in his zeal, unleashes an unspeakable evil from beyond the grave.
