This combination instructional video/performance release features a master class in drumming led by percussionist Antonio Sanchez, of The Pat Metheny Group. Over the course of several hours, Sanchez discusses the technical and stylistic aspects of his drumming, coaches a number of percussion students on their own performance abilities, and evinces his own skill set by playing the songs he helped popularize in backing up Chick Corea, Metheny and other innovative artists.
