Van Halen is a hard rock band formed in Pasadena, California in 1972. When David Lee Roth left the band, Sammy Hagar became the new singer. In 2007 "Diamond Dave" returne d to role of lead vocalist. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, Van Halen is the 20th best selling band of all time with sales of over 56 million albums in the USA, and is one of fi ve rock bands that have had two albums sell more than 10 million copies in the USA! In 20 08 they became one of the best-paid acts in the world.
