La familia Montano vive en el norte de Mexico. El padre, Valente, ha cruzado ilegalmente la frontera en dieciocho ocasiones, pero ya nunca mas, porque ha juntado suficiente dinero y esta dispuesto a poner un negocio en su pueblo: una pizzeria en un mundo de tortillas. La llevaran el y sus hijos Candelario y Martina. Pero Candelario no ve claro lo de invertirlo todo en tal negocio: el sabe que en el pueblo ya asoma la inseguridad. Alli mismo aun no ha pasado nada, pero corren rumores de gente muerta y colgada en los alrededores. Y entonces se inaugura la pizzeria, y cuando todo empieza a ir muy bien, Candelario se decide a probar lo prohibido, la marihuana que cultiva en su huerto su antiguo amigo Monico Zorrilla. / The Montano family originates from the north of Mexico, from this vast country whose name Daniel Sada subverts and calls Mágico.
