The decision to end his life after a long battle with depression leads Keith to an experience with death that radically changes his perspective on life. Filled with a newfound lust for living, he is plagued by invasive dreams and insomnia. Those dreams, an extension of his death experience, are giving him vague instructions, telling him to go where there is no snow to find the woman who keeps appearing in those dreams. Enjoying his new life, Keith simply wants to find a way to get the dreams to stop disturbing his sleep. Reluctantly, he decides to try to satisfy the dreams by attempting to follow the directions they seem intent on giving him. Through a confluence of events, he finds that the woman from the dreams exists in the waking world. The dreams told Keith that she would have an answer for him, but she has no answer to give him, and now Keith must determine what the dreams were really saying as the clock runs out and he faces his own destruction once again. The connections that Keith makes over the course of his journey open new worlds to him as he expands outside the limited bubble he was trapped in during his depression. Encountering people from different backgrounds and lifestyles, he widens his understanding of the human condition as the path forward slowly comes into focus and he begins to understand why it was important that he live.
