Differentiated book- It has a historical context with research of the time-Geoffrey Smith Bache (October 18, 1894 - December 3, 1916) was a close friend of the writer JRR Tolkien, a member of the Tea Club Barrovian Society or TCBS with Rob Gilson, Christopher Wiseman and Tolkien. Studying in Birmingham and Oxford, he wrote several poetry essays during his studies, which he shared with his friends, members of TCBS. Engaged in World War I like all his friends, he died after the Battle of the Somme. His poems are published posthumously by Tolkien, eager to make his friend known, who will write the preface.
