One of Brooklyn's tallest buildings is the Williamsburg Bank Building, visible from across the East River in Manhattan's Lower East Side, the building is a symbol of the Brooklynite metropolis of the past. It's a short drive through heavy traffic on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (referred to by locals as the BQE) to Queens' Flushing Meadows Park.
